4.26.16 No Infection for Mummy berry on April 26

The rain/snow on Tuesday, April 26 was not enough to cause an infection period for mummy berry. The air temperature was too cold.  Most fields would have needed about 15 hours of wetness and we did not get that long a period anywhere with weather stations.

Plants in the Midcoast area are susceptible in many fields; please check your field to see how far along our plants have developed.  Mummy berry cups have been reported around these areas.  Wet weather is not in the forecast until early next week.
