5.14.16 Mummy Berry Infection from May 14 to May 15
There was an infection period in some fields from Saturday, May 14 to Sunday, May 15 . Only our weather stations in Sedgwick (Sunday, 1:00 a.m.start), Columbia (Sunday, 12:20 a.m. start) and East Machias (Sunday 2:00 a.m. start) detected long enough leaf wetness to cause an infection period. All other field sites were too short a period to cause mummy berry infection.
We should be coming close to the end of mummy berry season. Please let me know how you mummy berry plots are doing.
