Warden Camp (ages 10-13)

Wardens meeting with campers“Warden Camp” at Bryant Pond will introduce you to many of the skills and responsibilities that are part of being a Maine Game Warden. Daily visits by various wardens will focus on different skills and aspects of their work. Learn survival skills, search and rescue, crime scene investigation, firearms safety, tracking, and more! Traditional skills will be taught along with the latest technology used by the Maine Warden Service including map and compass/GPS, surveillance, and night vision technology.  See real Warden Service K-9 dogs in action, and a chance to ask the floatplane pilot questions as he lands at our waterfront! All “Junior Maine Game Wardens” will receive their patch at the end of this program.
