June 2, 2020 Vegetables (part 2)

Hi Master Gardeners,
You’ve completed the spring training – congratulations! I’ve said it many times before, but I’ll say it again – your commitment to the training in these circumstances is much appreciated. I look forward to sharing volunteer opportunities that you can do away from home as soon as our administration allows us to do so. In the meantime, enjoy your own garden and continue learning by doing.
Mentioned in class
food preservation workshop series

seed saving bulletin
tomato in a bag (not mentioned, but may be of interest)
Be sure to look back in your homework assignments and the Master Gardener manual for great resources. At some point in early to mid August I’ll reach out to let you know how we will proceed with the fall training sessions (in person or continue with zoom).
Questions are always welcome!
Best,
Kate
PS I had to chuckle during a kindergarten zoom meeting today – one of Lucy’s classmates was cutting their toenails directly in front of the computer camera. It was hilarious. Thank you for not cutting your toenails in class (at least on camera).
