Preserving Place. Inspiring Discovery. Supporting Future Generations.

The Bryant Pond Learning Center is guided by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors committed to preserving, enhancing, and stewarding the Bryant Pond campus for future generations. Board members bring a diverse range of professional experience, community connections, and personal passions to support outdoor education, conservation, youth development, and lifelong learning.

As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Bryant Pond Learning Center works in partnership with the University of Maine to ensure that the Bryant Pond campus remains a vibrant and welcoming place where people of all ages can learn, explore, and connect with the outdoors. Through thoughtful leadership and long-range planning, the Board helps preserve the campus’s historic character and natural beauty while investing in its future.

Our Board is more than a governing body. Members actively support the Bryant Pond community through fundraising, facilities stewardship, strategic planning, community partnerships, and volunteer service. Working alongside University of Maine 4-H Camp and Learning Center staff, the Board helps ensure that the Bryant Pond campus continues to inspire discovery and serve Maine’s youth, families, schools, and communities for generations to come.

• Facilities and Grounds
• Development and Fundraising
• Community Relations
• Long-Range Planning
• Governance
• Finance

Committee participation allows individuals to contribute their expertise while helping to preserve and strengthen the Bryant Pond campus and its mission.
