Core Trips/Experiences (tentative):

• Baxter State Park Expedition, three day
• Winter “Rites of Passage” trip to reflect on the past and look ahead to the future three-day
• Spring day trip (Baseball Game, Car Race, Ferry trip to an Island, Festival, Schooner Sail, Mt. Washington Train, Outdoor Discovery School LLBean-paddleboard/kayak, Maine Botanical Gardens)
• NorthStar Graduation-June
• Six-seven Cohort meetings between September-February

Optional Experiences (tentative):

• Leadership training to mentor younger NorthStar cohorts. Students are eligible for attending core expeditions for the group they mentor.
• Individual college/trade school admission or life planning support
• Day trips based on students’ interests. Examples: Sea Dog game, a ferry trip to an island, Maine Botanical Gardens.
